Mary Alice Gesmundo BSMT, Dip. Nursing, TAE
Mary Gesmundo, the CEO and Founder of Unified Quality Training, was born in the Philippines, and
grew up in Laguna, San Pablo city. Mary completed the beginning stages of her study in San Pablo
city before moving to Manila to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the
University of Santo Tomas. Shortly after her graduation, Mary pursued an independent career in
Medical Science, and built two of her own diagnostic laboratories in the Philippines.
During this time, Mary was offered a valuable employment opportunity overseas as a lead Medical
Scientist, in the country of Saudi Arabia. Mary migrated to Saudi at the young age of 23, and would
work for ARAMCO (American Oil company, King Faisal Hospital and National Guard) as a lead Medical Technologist/Scientist and Quality Manager for four years.
After her experiences in Saudi Arabia, Mary learned about the beautiful country of Australia. Mary
permanently migrated to Australia as a Skilled Migrant at the age of 27 and has been here ever since!
She has worked for major hospitals in Sydney NSW and Brisbane QLD, namely the Prince of Wales
Hospital and Princess Alexandria Hospital. She settled in South Australia, where she worked as a
Senior Medical Scientist for the prestigious Royal College of Pathologist Australia (RCPA).
