COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is especially suited for aged care and disability carers or support workers delivering care through an NDIS provider or at an aged care service. The course is written in line with the NDIS skill descriptors/practice standards and is delivered by experienced AHPRA registered nurses. Students of this course will learn to safely and effectively:  
Students will gain basic anatomical knowledge of: the eliminatory system; skin and stoma care; equipment and related functions; procedures for safe positioning and monitoring; common risks and indicators of malfunction and understanding when to involve a health practitioner. 
The program includes comprehensive online learning, alongside an engaging practical session. Individuals who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
