COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is suitable for staff of aged care facilities, NDIS organisations, healthcare clinics and hospitals. The course addresses the appropriate responses required for common incidents, such as falls, pressure injuries, skin tears, and medication errors, ensuring that staff can handle these situations effectively. Staff will also gain the necessary knowledge to recognise, report, and manage critical incidents, which might include serious situations like the use of force, neglect, or client abuse. The training is led by experienced instructors with an extensive background in Australian healthcare compliance and risk management. The course is built in line with current compliance regulations, especially focusing on the intricacies of incident reporting and management, ensuring that actions and decisions adhere to established regulatory standards.
